The Cloud Microphones Cloudlifter CL-2 is a two-channel Mic Activator compatible with pretty much any microphone. Since high impedance or a bad preamp can sometimes leave a microphone signal in need of a little help, the CL-2 is essentially a little blue microphone first-aid kit designed for purpose. Connect up to two microphones and then simply connect the box to an interface, mixer, or preamp that can provide the Cloudlifter with phantom power. The microphone signal can then be boosted by up +25dBs.

The Cloudlifter CL-2 Mic Activator provides two independent channels and is powered by the phantom power of any mixer or preamp it's connected to. This little signal booster is especially effective when used as a bridge between a dynamic or ribbon microphone and the input device, and will easily enhance the clarity, stability and overall sound quality of any budget microphone or preamp. The CL-2 can also handle broadcasting and live use since the active output has been designed to reduce any possible noise caused by using long cables.
